The overall narrative of the clip is that the husband/partner appears and is rude and stuck up to the wife who's currently cooking a meal for them both. She finds his bitterness frustration and when adding some salt to the meal she accidentally pours far too much in and decides to add even more to spite the husband. She then serves him the meal and asks her if she's having any as its delicious. She decides to have something to eat and servers herself some soup. However the camera angel doesn't show where she's getting her soup from. This leaves the question of is she also having the soup or something else? She then sits down and enjoys her meal at the table with the husband.

The main conventions of this clip that makes it stand out is the language that is used throughout as it's not English yet with the subtitles through out you still see the humor and get a good idea of the tone of voices used by both characters. Also the use of simple shots such as mid shots, eye-line matches, long/establishing shots as well as close ups. No camera movements are used, this shows that the clip was made to be simple and effective from the narrative and dialogue rather than the camera shots and camera movements that you'd normally see.
